OVERVIEW

Digital Discovery Days offer the opportunity to immerse yourself in everything digital. They focus on the use of digital technologies in dentistry and bring together delegates and expert digital dentists to discuss, network and learn. The goal is to spread knowledge, share stories and explore the application of new and digital innovations in today's modern practice.

Jameel Gardee

Jameel Gardee

Dr Jameel Gardee graduated with a BDS with Commendation from Glasgow University in 1995. Subsequently he completed a post graduate degree in Advanced Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry from Boston University in 2001, where he was a Resident in the Department of Restorative Sciences.


Simon Chard

Simon Chard

Dr Simon Chard BDS(Hons) BSc(Hons) qualified with Honours from King's College London Dental Institute; he was awarded the prestigious Academy of Operative Dentistry Award given to the top student in the year for clinical dentistry, as well as receiving awards for root canal therapy and aesthetic dentistry. In 2015 he was voted the Best Young Dentist in London and also the overall Best Young Dentist in the UK at the prestigious Dentistry Awards.

Simon sits on the board of directors for the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD) and has a strong focus towards achieving optimal aesthetic results utilising minimally invasive techniques. Simon is a rising star in the field of cosmetic dentistry and is a big promoter of the digital revolution within this field. He has lectured to hundreds of dentists on the use of CEREC technology in restorative dentistry and is also a certified CEREC Ortho trainer, facilitating the integration of CEREC with orthodontic appliances such as Invisalign. Simon is an avid photographer and lectures nationally on the art and science of macro dental photography.

Simon works in practice in London and Surrey.


Simon Ernst

Simon Ernst

Simon accepts implant referrals with a particular interest in the treatment of nervous patients and complex compromised aesthetic cases.

Simon graduated from the University of Bristol in 2006. He has since completed courses in sedation, become a Member of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons and in 2014 graduated with an MSc in Dental Implantology from the University of Bristol. He is a Study Club Director and Speaker for the International Team for Implantology (ITI).

He currently shares most of his time between Charlton Road Dental and Cirencester Dental Practice as an Implant and Cosmetic Dentist. He is also heavily involved in teaching as a Speciality Dentist at the Bristol Dental Hospital in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department.

At both Charlton Road Dental and Cirencester Dental Pracitce, Simon’s general, implant and orthodontic practice has been almost exclusively digital since 2010 with extensive use of the Cerec Omnicam and the Itero Cadent Scanner. Most recently Cirencester Dental Practice has exclusively been testing the new Straumann Scanner prior to market launch.
