Ben qualified from Leeds dental school in 1998 following which he developed an interest in anxiety management and sedation whilst working in the north of England. Following a move to Northern Ireland, in 2004 he completed a 12 month training programme in dental implants, also gaining his Diploma in Conscious Sedation from Newcastle university in 2006. He is a training mentor for the dental sedation training group and a member of the Society for the advancement of Dental Anaesthesia (SAAD) and the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI). Ben is a partner at 18 Dental, Coleraine which was awarded Ulster Tatler Cosmetic Clinic of the year 2014. He takes referrals for patients requiring sedation, implants and restorative care. Ben uses CEREC and CBCT 3D scanning to simplify the planning and treatment process, using Ankylos and Straumann as his preferred implants.
