Nick Barker

Following graduation from Royal London Hospital in December 1990, Dr Barker worked there as the House Surgeon in the Prosthodontics Department. He then worked as an Associate Dentist in General Practice before becoming a partner and Principal Dentist in Colchester in August 1994. In 1997 he was selected as a Vocational Trainer for Dental Foundation Year 1 dentists and has been reselected every year since. Following graduation with a Masters Degree in Restorative Dental Practice from UCL Eastman, London in December 2009, Dr Barker accepted referrals for endodontics and prosthodontics/restorative dentistry. Dr Barker is a visiting lecturer on Restorative Dentistry at Postgraduate and Foundation Training Centres across the East of England Deanery. He is a lead tutor for East of England Deanery in certificated courses for Extended Duties for Dental Nurses. He is also a visiting lecturer at University of Essex, lecturer at Local Professional Network Annual Assembly on leadership and lecturer for BDA and LDC on dento-legal matters.
